Douglas A. Mata, MD, MPH

Dr. Mata is a clinical fellow in pathology at Harvard Medical School. He attended Rice University in Houston and the University of Cambridge in England, and was a Fulbright Scholar at the European campus of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Madrid. His research has appeared in NEJM, JAMA, Lancet Psychiatry, and PNAS. His work has been featured in Newsweek, New York Times, and TIME Magazine.

Michelle M. Kim, MD, PhD

Dr. Kim is a clinical fellow in surgery at Harvard Medical School. She holds a Ph.D. in health economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Her research has appeared in JAMA Internal Medicine, Medical Care, Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, and Urology. Her work has been featured in TIME Magazine and the NEJM Resident 360 radio series.


Jamie S. Lin, MD

Dr. Lin is a research fellow in nephrology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She attended Penn and also trained in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Her research has appeared in JAMA Psychiatry, Journal of Pathology, Medical Education, Nature Biotechnology, and Oncogene. She won first-place in the basic science research category at the National Young Investigators Forum of the National Kidney Foundation.

Michael J. Peluso, MD, MPhil

Dr. Peluso is a clinical fellow in medicine at Harvard Medical School. He attended Columbia University and the Yale School of Medicine and trained in public health at the University of Cambridge. His research has appeared in Academic Medicine, AIDS, Clinical Trials, Current HIV/AIDS Reports, JAMA, and the Journal of Infectious Diseases. He is a past winner of The Tom Davies Prize for best performance in the Master of Philosophy in Public Health program at the University of Cambridge.

Marco A. Ramos, PhD, MPhil

Dr. Ramos is a researcher at the Yale School of Medicine. He holds degrees from Columbia University and Yale. His research has appeared in Academic Medicine, Bulletin of the History of MedicineJAMA, and Lancet Psychiatry. His work has been featured in the Boston Herald, US News & World Report, and the Washington Post.

Farhan M. Katchi, MD

Dr. Katchi is a clinical fellow in cardiology at the Weill Cornell School of Medicine. He attended Rice University in Houston as well as the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His research has appeared in the American Journal of Men's Health, and his work focuses on the role of antiarrhythmic agents for treating atrial fibrillation in patients with heart failure.

Matthew G. Torre, MD

Dr. Torre is a clinical fellow in pathology at Harvard Medical School. He attended the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Medical School. His research has appeared in Cardiovascular Pathology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinica Chimica Acta, and JAMA. His current work focuses on the neuropathological correlates of chemotherapeutic toxicity.

David A. Mata, JD, LLM

Mr. Mata is a licensed attorney with expertise in healthcare law and billing compliance. He attended the University of Virginia and Tulane University Law School and has a master's degree in health care law from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. His writings have appeared in the National Jurist and the Indiana Health Law Review. He is an expert on CMS, FDA, and Medicare regulations, has a deep knowledge of DOJ and OIG enforcement, and knows all legal aspects of clinical trials from start to finish.
